Located towards the eastern portion of Logan Square is the community of Bucktown. It is just to the north of popular Wicker park and to the northwest of the trendy Loop area. Bucktown, while it used to be a popular area of goats, is now one of the trendiest areas to live in Chicago. This mostly residential area is home to various single family homes, 2-flats and 3-flats. This may include a trip to one of the few remaining corner taverns such as The Charleston or the Gallery Cabaret, which both offer live music and unique experiences. For something to eat, check out the long-time Bucktown restaurant Le Bouchon, which offers fantastic French cuisine. There are plenty of other area attractions to explore including The Northside Bar & Grill, a fun, Americanized restaurant with a lovely beer garden. In addition to these amenities, Bucktown is also home to Damen Avenue, a larger shopping district that runs to North avenue.
